When manufacturing dental guidance systems, it is important to consider factors such as the digitization process in the production process, design, selection of the most suitable material and method of implantation. Three types of surgical guidance systems were made by three different devices which work on the principle of additive technology and were closely analysed. Subsequently, the created surgical guidance systems were compared with Standard Triangle Language (STL) files in Gom Inspect software, to determine the accuracy of printed objects. In conclusion, it is important to note that the presented work is a pilot study, which is focused on the design of a methodology to produce surgical guides using 3D printing, taking into account shape accuracy.
